Headshot - Ungaro Maria.jpgTo reiterate Kirk’s statement yesterday, I am honored to serve as GWA’s new executive director as it begins its relationship with Kellen at its New York headquarters. We have such an exciting opportunity to bring GWA into the future and a strategy to get us there. It is my pleasure to introduce you to some of the GWA team, who will be assisting me with this import work:

Sandy has been with Kellen for four years working on the Society for Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP) and the National Institute of Oilseed Products (NIOP). During her years in Tallahassee, Sandy owned and operated Pinnacle Meetings & Events for seven years.

Caitlin Norton will serve as communications director. With prior experience in communications, Caitlin joined Kellen in 2015. Her other clients include Calorie Control Council and the Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals.

June Price will serve as creative director.June is an award-winning design professional experienced in creative direction, graphic design, marketing, advertising, public relations and communications. She has worked with Kellen for more than 14 years.

Alexa Haller will serve as staff associate. Prior to joining Kellen, Alexa served in several administrative and public relations roles with multiple organizations including Prada USA and K. Shaw Media.

On behalf of the entire team, I thank you for your continued support of GWA. As we have begun this process, we have been blown away by the passion, knowledge and skill of each member we have encountered. We are energized and excited to serve you as we begin this new adventure and look forward to meeting and speaking with each of you. If you happen to be at MANTS this week, Ashley and I will be in the GWA booth (#265), so stop by and say hello.

Next week, keep an eye out for a survey we will be fielding. We want to get a better understanding of what you love about the organization and what you think we can be doing better.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to our team with any questions, suggestions, or issues you may have. We are here to assist you in anyway we can. I look forward to working with you.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Maria Ungaro
